Over the top of the burner are perforated stainless steel heat distribution plates that minimize flare-ups and protect the burners. The C-Series features stainless steel rod cooking grids that will absorb and radiate heat, leaving wonderful sear marks. The flame thrower igniters ignite the fuel before it gets to the burner, thus keeping the igniter out of the direct path of the flame.
