MATCH LIT fire pit burners are the most economical way to purchase a fire pit. In fire pit kits, a key is inserted into an included valve to turn the gas on and off. To light, one typically places a lit match or BBQ lighter over the burner and then turns the gas on. There are several kits available that are certified. Individual burner rings and individual components do not have a safety certification. We advise on checking with local codes prior to installing an uncertified product for guidance.

HEARTH PRODUCTS CONTROLS (HPC)

HPC engineers and manufactures high quality outdoor fire pit components such as fire pit burner elements in various shapes and sizes, both flat and bowl type pans that create the floor of a fire pit, the Control systems to operate and/or ignite the fire pits, and all related accessories. These components are installed into non-combustible fire pit structures (typically brick pavers, steel framing with hardie board, concrete, etc.) to create a fire pit that matches your outdoor living space. Fire pit burners are also incorporated into pre-made fire pit bodies for a more turn-key purchase. Each fire pit burner can be covered with lava stones of various types, lava rock and outdoor faux logs, or for a more contemporary look fire glass which is also available in many sizes, colors, and shapes. Most assembled kits pass rigorous CSA or UL testing however components can also be purchased ala carte. HPC makes the product and we can advise you or your contractor as to the best fit for your outdoor living space.
