All Ventis Chimney Caps are proudly made in the USA. Each Ventis Chimney Cap is available in either 304 stainless steel or painted black galvanized steel. Stainless steel caps have a limited lifetime warranty. Galvanized caps have a 3 year warranty against rust through and a limited lifetime warranty on workmanship. Ventis Chimney Caps are easy to assemble with a wing nut attaching the lid to the mesh walls. The weld nuts on the base make for a quick and firm connection to your clay chimney flue liner. The base is made from 18 gauge steel. The top lid is made of 24 gauge steel. The mesh is 8″ tall on every single flue cap.
